Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric is a residential services company looking for the right person that can help our company continue to grow. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will lead the effort to find the right people to join our company and who want to become part of THE BEST team in the home services industry!

This is a full time position reporting to the Director of Marketing. The right person for this job will be a detail-oriented administrative pro that can bring a bit of marketing savvy to the recruitment and hiring process. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for the process of hiring and recruiting for all open positions.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Becoming THE expert on company culture, hiring standards and our code of ethics as to be able to properly represent Applewood to potential employees.
Guiding applicants through our complicated testing and interview process, including phone screenings, drug testing, background checks, resume review, administration of skills testing, follow-up and more.
Exploring all opportunities to recruit and hire new talent including traditional methods and "out-of-the-box" approaches
Developing a process to track leads and monitor results.

The right candidate will meet the following requirements:

Strong administrative skills. This position will be 60-70% administrative, 30-40% Recruiting/Marketing to potential employees.
Computer, internet and social media savvy with excellent writing skills.
Recruiting/Human Resources experience preferred.
Marketing experience would be a plus.
Must be a "people person", outgoing and direct on the phone and in person.
Must have excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Must be willing to pitch in where ever needed.
Must have a clean criminal background and be drug-free.

Parts Driver/Warehouse Runner Needed!

We're currently looking to fill a full-time Parts Driver/Warehouse Runner position. This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door at one of the best places to work in Denver!

We are looking for a Parts Driver with 5 years driving experience. The right candidate will have an excellent driving record and clean background check. The Parts Driver supports our warehouse by picking up and delivering parts as needed, and assists technicians in receiving equipment such as water heaters and furnaces. Physical requirements include bending and lifting of parts and equipment, sometimes in excess of 100lbs. This position is responsible for following safety and security guidelines in a non-smoking work environment. General knowledge of the Denver metro area and familiarity with plumbing, heating and electrical parts are highly preferred. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and also checks in with Dispatch for work assignments. Duties may include some clerical inventory and maintenance of warehouse and other areas. The right candidate will have reliable transportation to work and be professional in appearance.
