Applewood Plumbing, Heating & Electric, LLC (“Applewood Plumbing” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”), is the only family-owned and operated plumbing repair, drain cleaning, heating, cooling, and electric repair company in Colorado that specializes in services exclusively for the homeowners.  We facilitate our Services through our Website https://www.applewoodfixit.com. This Privacy Policy is designed to help You understand how We collect, use, process, and share Your Personal Data, and to help You understand and exercise Your privacy rights. Our Privacy Policy was developed as an extension of our commitment to combine the excellent service with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our website users.   • Live Chat. We partner with a trusted third-party vendor “Ruby Chat” to provide You with live chat features to better assist You. When using the live chat features, only provide necessary information and do not provide sensitive information. We or Our third-party vendor may record and maintain a transcript of any communications in the live chat for recordkeeping, training, and quality assurance purposes.

Refer-a-Friend and Similar Incentive Programs. Applewood Plumbing, Heating & Electric, LLC, may offer referral programs or other similar promotions that allow You to receive discounts or other benefits. Because these programs involve the collection of personal information, they may be interpreted as a “financial incentive” program. These programs are entirely voluntary and allow Us to grow our business and provide additional benefits to You. You will have to join, or affirmatively opt-in, to any incentive program. In addition to the rights as explained in this Privacy Policy, under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide Personal Data (as defined in the statute) to obtain products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us, once per calendar year, information about the Personal Data we shared, if any, with other businesses for marketing uses. We will not disclose or share your Personal Data with third parties for the purposes of third-party marketing to you without your prior consent.

11. Children’s Privacy

We do not intentionally seek to gather information from individuals under the age of thirteen (13) years old. We do not target the Website to minors, and would not expect them to be engaging with Our Services. We encourage parents and guardians to provide adequate protection measures to prevent minors from providing information unwillingly on the internet. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We are aware of any Personal Data that We have collected about minors, We will take steps to securely remove it from Our systems.
