Team Plumbdog Millionaires to Walk in Furry Scurry to Benefit Dumb Friends League
Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric’s team, “The Plumbdog Millionaires,” returns to sponsor and walk the annual Furry Scurry on Saturday, May 4, 2024. The event is a two-mile dog walk around Denver’s Washington Park to support animals at the Dumb Friends League shelter. Applewood employees, their plus-ones and their pups will stroll to show support for this “pawsitive” cause.
We Love Making Furry Friends
“As a local business, we strive to be active members in the community to give back to the ones that support us. Our technicians meet so many furry friends when they work on customers’ homes, it’s part of our daily routine,” said Josh Ward, owner of Applewood. “That’s why partnering with Furry Scurry to help the Dumb Friends League makes us proud to be part of something that benefits the welfare of animals in the neighborhood.”
Fun and Prizes
Colorado Avalanche mascot, Bernie, will be at the Applewood booth for photo ops and autographs during the event. Applewood’s booth will be located near the finish line where there will also be a variety of giveaway gifts for pups and owners such as poop bag dispensers, bandanas, collapsible bowls, food scoopers, sunscreen and more.
For those who are not able to walk alongside The Plumbdog Millionaires in-person, Furry Scurry is offering a virtual stroll for participants. Applewood is helping raise money to fund rehabilitation and veterinary services the Dumb Friends League provides for animals.
